New Feature on Traffic Roundup, Revisited

From Stephen Ayer & Bobby Ivie of TrafficRoundup:

Last week we proudly announced the debut of the Roundup Mailbox! This is a fantastic feature and worth discussing again for those who missed it and for all the new members who joined in the last week.

On the menu in the members area you will see a link for Mailbox. Once you click that you will be taken to an area where you can place an ad for the other Roundup members to view. What makes this so good is that you have their complete attention because they are not surfing and watching your site go by. They read your ad, click your link, view your page, then after a timer counts down they earn credits.

It costs you 5 credits to get your ad seen this way, but it’s worth it because this system dramatically increases results. You can also ad a few more credits for an incentive if you like. Your credits are removed from your account and put into a credit pool. Each time a member views your ad, credits are deducted from your credit pool until they are all used up.

When members log into their accounts, if there are any ads in their mailbox they will get a popup that tells them so. They then go to their mailbox to view the ad and earn at least 5 credits. Once they have viewed your ad they will not get another chance to view the same ad. This keeps your credits from being used up by the same person.

You can use whatever credits you have available in your account to place an ad, or you can purchase credits in the members area and use them for your mailbox ad.

So, to sum it up, in the members area on the menu you can click the Mailbox link to place and ad that members will see when they log in, and that is also where you will go when someone else has placed an ad for you to view and earn credits. It’s worth it because earning at least 5 credits for viewing 1 ad is quicker than earning 5 credits by surfing.
